    Coup De´tat
    The Coup of 18-19 Brumaire, the same ones that overthrew the government before, brought General Napoleon Bonaparte to power as the first Consul of France.

    Conquered most of Europe, successful general, lead one of the largest armies in Europe, proposed and enforced the Napoleonic Code, brought order to France during the French Revolution, Rebuilt France and Paris, First Consul, the first emperor of France, wrote the first Constitution of France

    Concordat of 1801
    The agreement between Napoleon and Pope Pius VII restoring the Roman Catholic Church in France and Rome. Napoleon was also able to nominate bishops.

    During Napoleon's rule, he conquered most of Europe including modern Spain, Italy and Germany. He started off attacking the British in 1803 and when he finally got beaten in 1815, he was exiled and his empire fell.

    Napoleon established a list of laws including individual rights known as the Napoleonic Code.This was a new set of laws which was a revised version of laws from the old French government pre revolution.

    Napoleon ordered his 500,000 person army to invade Russia after his continental system got rejected. They got to Moscow and stayed there.They were then forced to retreat after Russian patriots destroyed their buildings for the Winter

    100 Years

    The 100 years campaign was to mark the hundred day difference between the day Napoleon escaped exile and the day King Louis XVIII returned to Paris.
  • Battle of Waterloo

    Battle of Waterloo
    Just south of Brussels and near the village of Waterloo, Napoleon lead his army of around 72,000 troops against the 68,000 British troops. As Napoleon waited to attack because the ground was wet, 30,000 Prussians were on their way and attacked the French, vastly out numbering them in the end and the French lost.
