    The Industrial Revolution was a time of scietific advancments. The British ahd already had an Industrial Revolution and were slightly ahead of everyone else, but some great things came the US. One of the most important devolpments would be the cotton gin.

    Lewis and Clark were sent to explore the land the US just bought from the French in the Lousisana purchase. They met many Native American tribes along the way and were able to make strong connections with them.That is how they met sacagawea, who led them through out a majority of the area.

    The Missouri Compromise was passed to help the power stay equal in congress between the states. THe compromise had Missouri admitted as a slave state, Maine as a free state, and slavery was prohibited in the Louisiana Purchase north of latitude 36°30′N, except for Missouri.

    Bleeding Kansas happened bucause of acts that allowed the population to decide wether they were proslavery or against it. Kansas being a new area both types of people went and wanted to claim it. They weren't able to agree on anything and this lead to violence.
