    This is editing video, sound or images that are original content and has not been modified by editing. Although the use of non-linear editing started around 1963. The first true non-linear editor was the CMX 600 made in 1971.

    This is a multimedia company founded in 1987 by Bill Warner. it specializes in video and audio. AVID products are now used with in the television and video industry.
  • Linear video editing

    Linear video editing
    This is takes images and sound a sets them into a sequence that is decided in advance. it does not matter what the images and sound are captured by. However it must be accessed in a sequence.
