    The telegraph was invented by Samuel Morse. The invention allowed people to communicate with each other better. Messages could be sent quicker.
  • The Invention of the Sewing Machine

    Elias Howe invented the sewing machine. Clothes could now be produced at a much faster rate. They were also better quality because the stitching would be closer together.
  • Bessemer Process was Created

    The Bessemer Process was created by William Kelly and Henry Bessemer. Steel had already been around for a long time, but before the Bessemer Process, it had been difficult to produce a lot of it. With the new Bessemer Process, railroads and buildings could be built from steel which is a lot stronger than wood or stone.

    Dynamite was created by Alfred Nobel. This made mining a safer and quicker process.
  • Invention of the Typewriter

    The typewriter was invented by Christopher Sholes. Things could be typed which makes them easier to read. The process was much faster than hand writing everything so a lot more could be accomplished.

    Alexander Graham Bell was the inventor of the telephone. It allowed people to communicate with each other over long distances.

    The invention of the light bulb was a huge deal. Candles would no longer be necessary. The inventor, Thomas Edison, was detriment to make the light bulb cheap so everyone could have electricity in their home.
