    The French and Indian War & Pontiac’s Rebellion

    The French and Indian War comprised the North American Seven Years' War of 1756–63. It marked the colonies of British America against those of New France. Basically when the Britians took control over North America is which caused the war to begin with. How the French and Indian war led to the Proclamation Line, End of Salutary Neglect was because when the British won they had a huge war debt to pay back so they gave up salutary neglect in the colonies.

    The Sugar Act, Stamp Tax, and Quartering Act

    The Quartering Act is when colonist provided food and barracks for troops. The Sugar Act and the stamp act required new taxation. How this led to the The SAC, Boston Massacre, CC, and Boston Tea Party, was that the colonist were upset because of the stamp act which led to them being angry towards British troops so British troops opened fire of a group of the colonist. The colonist then were talking with one another, colonist then boarded a boat to dump all the tea into the harbor.

    The battle of Saratoga gave a decisive victory to the Americans over the British in the American Revolutionary War. Valley Forge is where Washington’s army begins their long winter stay. This led to The treaty of Alliance with France which stated that U.S. and France sign an agreement. Both sides promise to fight for American independence. This happened due to the Americans needing a trustworthy alliance.

    America and France sign an agreement. France understands the new form of government so they side with one another. France declares war on Britain. Congress appoints Ben Franklin as the American diplomat to France. The surrender at Yorktown, Virginia was a resolute victory by a combined force of American Army led by General George Washington and French Army. This led to the Treaty of Paris because it ended the revolutionary war between Britain and America and recolonized American Independence.
