    Pleonasm was born on the Mediterranean island of Corsica and was sent to military school at the age of 9.

    Becomes general in French Army
    Napoleon led soldiers against French loyalists who had attacked the National Convention. He was thought as the "hero" and "savior" of the French.

    A new system of laws which got rid of injustices. On the other hand, it limited liberty and controlled authority over people.

    Peasants and clergy wanted the Church back, so napoleon signed an agreement, called the "Concordat", with the Pope. It rejected national affairs with the Church, but gave support to napoleon in return.

    Lost to the British while taking control of the Austrian Netherlands, some parts of Italy, and Switzerland. He wanted to conquer land but ended up losing it.

    Napoleon blocked off all of Britain from other surrounding countries. This prevented them from trading with other countries, although goods were smuggled in and out of the country.

    Napoleon invaded Russia with his army. Not knowing why, they walked in to see that the Russians had left because of winter's arrival. Russia burned their crops and livestock to starve their enemies. Napoleon left with more than half his army dead.

    Exiled to Elba

    Napoleon was defeated at the battle of Leipzig and gave up on his throne. He was sent to an island off the coast of Italy, called Elba.Louis XVIII was put in Napoleon's place and a monarchy was restored. After hearing about unhappy people, Napoleon made his escape from Elba and went back to France to take back the throne.

    Napoleon's last and final battle at his attempt at power, which he was defeated at.

    Exiled to St. Helena after his final battle near a Belgian town, Waterloo. This was his last attempt at power and lost. It was called the "Hundred days".
