Hurricane Connie caused flooding across the eastern U.S .It had max winds of 125 mph.The United States military flew planes away from the coast to safer shelters further inland.in order to have less damage. Hurricane Connie caused significant damages that took years to fix. -

It was a category 4 hurricane that hit North Carolina.It came after Hurricanes Connie and Diane. It caused $600 million in damage.It also killed 7 people due to damage flying in the air.The name was retired and will never be used again. -

Janet caused $7.8 million in damage to the Lesser Antilles and 189 deaths in the Grenadines and Barbados.It was one of the strongest Hurricanes on record in the Atlantic.There was $65.8 million in damages and 1,023 deaths that were caused by the hurricane. -

It was one of the deadliest tropical cyclones to strike the United States. it first formed on June 25, 1957, from a tropical wave which moved into the Bay of Campeche. The United States coast guard told sailors to not go through the storm but some did not listen and died.The name Audrey was retired and will never be used again. -

Hurricane Matthew was a catastrophic hurricane that became a category five Atlantic hurricane.The most significant effects were felt in Haiti and cost the U.S 1.9 billion in damages and 546 deaths.Hurricane Matthew was formed on September 28th 2016.
