Radio
In nations where Internet and electricity are limited, radio is the strongest medium for connecting isolated communities.
Radio is still the dominant mass-medium in Africa, reaching further than newspapers and television, both in terms of audience numbers and geographical reach. I think this was the first time I was exposed to media because I was not yet born we already have this. -
Television
Television is a system for transmitting visual images and sound that are reproduced on screens, chiefly used to broadcast programs for entertainment, information, and education. The television set has become a commonplace in many households, businesses, and institutions. It is a major vehicle for advertising. I think this was the first time I was exposed to media because I was not yet born we already have this. -
Pencil and Paper
Many poets still write on paper. The older generation still writes on paper. Paper is not a thing to be ridiculed as a medium of writing. Do your fingers get tired by typing too much? Try pen and paper instead. I first used this when I was kindergarten. -
Mobile phone
Your mobile phone is a device just like the television. Is is a medium in which individuals can use to provide and consume content on its various ‘channels’ (social media, websites, emails, etc…). I was first used this when I was in grade school
when my parents bought me a Nokia 1100. I always play Space impact. -
Typewriter
The first commercial typewriters were introduced in 1874, but did not become common in offices until after the mid-1880s. The typewriter quickly became an indispensable tool for practically all writing other than personal handwritten correspondence. It was widely used by professional writers, in offices, and for business correspondence in private homes. I first used this when I was 9 years old because my father let me try to type my name using typewriter. -
Newspaper
The news media or newspapers are forms of mass media that focus on delivering news to the general public or a target public. I was first exposed to this when our teacher gave us an activity that we need to read first the newspaper for us to do the activity. -
Play Station Portable
The PlayStation Portable (PSP) is a handheld game console developed by Sony Computer Entertainment. Development of the handheld was announced during E3 2003, and it was unveiled on May 11, 2004, at a Sony press conference before E3 2004. I was first exposed to this when i won a psp in a raffle draw during the "Harian" of our street. -
Computer
It is an electronic machine that is used for storing, organizing, and finding words, numbers, and pictures, for doing calculations, and for controlling other machines. I became exposed to this when my parents bought a computer set. I always play "Plant vs Zombies". -
Camera
A camera is an optical instrument for capturing still images or for recording moving images, which are stored in a physical medium such as in a digital system or on photographic film. A camera consists of a lens which focuses light from the scene, and a camera body which holds the image capture mechanism. I was first exposed to this when we have a family outing, I took some pictures of the resort and some of my relatives. -
Laptop
A laptop, also called a notebook computer or simply a notebook, is a small, portable personal computer with a "clamshell" form factor, having, typically, a thin LCD or LED computer screen mounted on the inside of the upper lid of the "clamshell" and an alphanumeric keyboard on the inside of the lower lid. I became exposed to this when my brother gave me laptop on my birthday. -
Smart phone
A smartphone is a cellular telephone with an integrated computer and other features not originally associated with telephones, such as an operating system, web browsing and the ability to run software applications. I became exposed to this when they bought me a high quality phone.
