-Originally, DeVaca gets stranded on Florida and ends up in Galveston. In my version, his ships don't leave him and he actually does what he was supposed to do.
-His leader wasn't killed and they weren't on Texas for eight years.
-DeVaca doesn't hear the rumor about the seven seconds of gold; he never goes back and tells them about the seven cities of gold. -

Esteban and Frar Marcus Don't Go Exploring
-Esteban and Frar Marcus never go exploring because they have no reason to.
-The goal of the expedition was to begin the search for the seven cities of gold. -

Esteban Lives!
-Esteban gets killed by Indians on his expedition because he tried to pretend to be a medicine man for food and woman.
-Since he never goes on his expedition, Esteban isn't killed by Indians, but by some other cause. -

-When Frar Marcus was following Esteban, he saw sparkling adobe houses.
-If he never went exploring, and never saw what he thought was real gold.
-No one went looking for the seven cities of gold. -

No Coronado
-Coronado and Frar Marcus go back for the seven cities of gold after Frar Marcus says he saw them.
-In this version, they have no reason to go on the expedition, so it never happens. -

Frar Marcus Stays
-When Frar Marcus realizes he didn't see real gold, he leaves during the night and is never heard from again.
-In this version, he never even saw the "gold", so he never goes on his expedition, so he never leaves and never dissapears.
