So that no one would be unaware of them, they were posted on wooden tablets, where they were preserved for almost two centuries.The laws, however, were particularly harder. The death penalty was the punishment for even minor offences. This is important because if they didn't write this we wouldn't have had an order in our government. Or we would not know the laws.

    The middle class became angry with their rulers and they demanded them, but the rulers refused to grant them to say in the government. Military leaders responded to the demands of the middle class and they promise to make the change.This leaders reformed the laws aided the poor people and putting other nobles to rule.
    That was important because if they didn't speak, the governmet
    would be bad tyrants.

    The first thing Solon did was cancel all debts, he made that all laws apply to all people. And finally Solon made all citizens equal in voice for selecting members of the heliaia.
    This is important because all persons are equal in the eyes of the government.
