Egypt and Israel made a peace treaty with the help of US President Jimmy Carter. They went to Maryland where they signed the treaty, this ended 30 years of fighting. -

The second Intifada
This time the attack was reinforced with a Palestinian security force, they also sent in suicide bombers killing innocent civilians. The Israeli force sent it tanks, planes, and helicopters to fight the rebellion, Enviably they withdrew from the area.
