    Case Brown Vs Board of Education
    Brown v. Board of Education unanimously held that the racial segregation of children in public schools violated the Equal Protection Clause of the 14th Amendment (McBride, 2006). This case argues for the rights of people, segregation was not equal. The supreme court has undertaken to provide education becomes equally to both blacks and whites. Since now all race are allowed in the same schools this can support children with disability.

  • Mills Vs Board of Education

    Mills Vs Board of Education
    This case against the DOC that acknowledged that students with a disability must be given a public education. They also need to provide educational services based on a child’s need. The final decision has reinforced the right of all students with disabilities to a free public education. Regards to this case, it surely supports students with the disability by giving them free education.

  • Burlington School Committee Vs Department of Education

    Parents of special needs child placed the child in a private school after believing that he was not receiving an appropriate education in the public schools (Cheatham, 2011). Since parents believe their child wasn’t receiving the appropriate education, the supreme court recognized grant retroactive reimbursement of private school tuition. This helps families who can’t afford private schools for their child to meet their needs.
