    The Establishment of Asylum for Quakers
    William Penn established an asylum for quakers through a land of grant in 1681. he favored religious toleration and acceptance of the Native Americans.

    Began in 1692 and ended around 1693. they were trials and the hanging of people and burning them mostly women in Salem who were accused of devilish acts such as witch craft.
  • Slave Revolts

    in 1712 the saves in new york revolted killing and injuring white people (their masters). also in south carolina/ stono rebellion it was the largest uprising in the english colonies. an estimate of 47 white people were dead and about 44 blacks died as well.
