    In this influential work the term "paradigm shift' was coined. Kuhn blew away older theories of science and brought about a thought process of "Thinking outside of the box" His theory was that in some paradigms, science can only go so far. Sometimes what is needed is to look at things completely from a different angle to make scientific progress.
