    The beginning of a war.
    The battles of Lexington and Concord that began on April 19, 1775, kicked off the American Revolutionary War. This is an extremely important event since it finally broke the tension of making war, a tension that had been going on for years within the 13 colonies. Its important because it kicked off a war that lasted 8 years.

    The Battle of Bunker Hill.
    Despite the prior conflicts that kicked off the war, the battle of Bunker Hill was so important since its considered to be the first major conflict of the American Revolutionary War.
  • The Second Continental Congress and the heat of an "endless" War.

    The Second Continental Congress and the heat of an "endless" War.
    As the conflicts continued in the Americas throughout 1775, in 1776 the Second Continental Congress adopted the Declaration of Independence, making the 13 colonies independent. But, the war never ended as the British did not agree to give up the northern colonies, duplicating the conflicts.

    The Battle of Trenton.
    The Trenton conflict was small, both in duration and American numbers. The British had outnumbered the Americans in such a way, that to them, a defeat was almost a known upcoming fact. Surprisingly, the American people came out victorious due to the leadership of John Cadwalader, whom strategies led his soldiers up to victory. This event was so important to the American Revolution since it inspired a lot of rebels in the colonies to stand up and fight.
  • The First Battle of Saratoga.

    The First Battle of Saratoga.
    In the first battle of Saratoga, known as the battle of Freeman's Farm, the new aftershock of the inspired rebels throughout the colonies due to Trenton's victory, prevented the British to break through their lines and join with their troops at Albany. This battle was the beginning point for encouraging France to openly support the American people against the British people. This first war was the starting point towards the victory of the American people.
  • The Second and last Battle of Saratoga.

    The Second and last Battle of Saratoga.
    After the failed attempt of the British people to break through the lines of the American people, they tried it again for the second time on October 7, 1777. But, the attempt failed as they were surrounded by 20,000 American soldiers ready to fire to kill. In the end, on October 17, the British Commander John Burgoyne accepted his people's defeat and surrended in order to not lose men.

    Quaker Hill, Rhode Island.
    The Battle of Quaker Hill was the result of the French trying to get into America to support the American troops. The British strategies led them to the lost of some French troops including American ones. This battle is so important to the Revolution since it was when France first attempted to support the American people to win the war.
