  • 300 BCE

    Aristotle

Was the founder of formal logic. He also pioneered the study of zoology. Most of his work remained unsurpassed until the mid 19th century.
  • 150

    Ptolemy

  • 1520

    Nicolaus Copernicus

He was the man who denounced the theory of Ptolemy who said that the earth was the center of the solar system and came up with the modern theory of heliocentric which means "sun centered". And this theory in later time proved to be true.
  • 1545

    Andreas Vesalius

This man was the person who revolutionized the human anatomy. He was the first person to draw the entire body with the all of the systems. He was a Belgian physician. And he passed away on June of 1564 But he could never quite figure out how it all worked he just knew how it looked.
  • 1564

    Galileo Galilee

This man discovered that objects fall at the same rate no matter the weight. And he was the first famous person to make and use a telescope which the church deemed a item of Satan. He was sentenced to life in prison where he died on 1642 deaf and 95% blind
  • 1568

    Tycho Brahe

Tycho Brahe was a Danish astronomer. He was known for his very accurate records. He was also a man who observed everything carefully. He put lots of time into his work, and found 750 stars and charted their positions.
  • Johannes Kepler

He was the one that discovered the 3 laws of planetary motion. 1. The planets move in orbit around the sun. 2. the time necessary to traverse any arc of a planetary orbit is proportional to the area of the sector between the central body and that arc, the area law. 3. there is an exact relationship between the squares of the planets’ periodic times and the cubes of the radii of their orbits, the harmonic law.
  • René Descartes

Was the person to connect body movement to the mind. Came up with the know saying "I think therefore I am". He was a French mathematician, scientist, and philosopher.
  • William Harvey

He was born on 1578 and died on 1657. He was the first person to discover how the circulation system worked and was the first person to sketch it out heeding Da'vinci's warning that it was much to hard to draw and explain the human body. He also used science to save many women accused of witchcraft.
  • Francis Bacon

This was the man who led the belief that unless it is proven by experiments and facts we must doubt it's possibility 100%
  • Evangelista Torricelli

Evangelista Torricelli was a Italian scientist. He was a physicist and mathematician. One of his important achievements was the invention of the barometer.
  • Robert Boyle

He invented the "Boyle's law" and proved that for the same temperature. The less mass the more pressure.
  • Issac Newton

Sir Issac Newton was the person who discovered gravity and at only 23 years old he came up with the theory of the 3 laws of motion but he waited till he was older and more respected to present them in 1686.
  • Antonie Van Leeuwenhoek

This was the first man to look under a microscope and discover that there were things that humans can't see with the naked eye because they are so small. This was the man who discovered bacteria and cells.
