Clarence Birdseye invents frozen food. This leads into TV dinners in my opinion because later on in the 20th century, families evolve and change the dynamic of dinner time. -

Philo Taylor Farnsworth invents working TV system also called the television camera. This is useful in household management because it opens up a whole new world for children and adults in the late 1920's. It ties into the TV dinner and spending time together in front of a television. -

Color television was created. This introduces a whole new experience for viewers at home who were able to afford something like this. This is important for household management because it could draw viewers to use the TV more often. This would obviously take up more time in the viewers day which would effect how they interact with the rest of their family. -

A flash drive is a great invention used for personal computers. I use one almost every day during school! These are used to store documents and other data just like a floppy disk. THis is just the updated version. -

Self cleaning windows are something that can make a home owners life easier. It could also lead to problems down the road if there are malfunctions in the product. -
Segway
Though this may not stay in the home... it may be stored in the home!!!! (the 2000s are very hard to find inventions for) The Segway is a mode of transportation that does not require a seat belt or for you to sit for that matter. It is an easier way to get around which technically could be used in the home. -

A virtual keyboard is far more advanced than I ever thought possible personally. This technology could help a consumer save space on a desk or if the virtual keyboard has better corrective technology, it could speed up the typing of the person using it. -

A hybrid car can help with gas mileage as well as being better for the environment. Some hybrid cars are chargeable which is much different than cars that were created in the 19th and 20th century. -

Log made for your fireplace that is made out of coffee grinds. This recycled material is not only good for the environment but is being used to heat the home. Using a fire to heat the home may be a more difficult way to heat your entire house that was used more in the past, but it is still popular today, especially when it's helping the environment. -

The Wii System was one of the first gaming systems I remember that had a remote that acted as your hand in a virtual game. You can bowl, play tennis and a ton of other games just like you're actually playing them all because of this semi virtual reality game. It changed the video game scene and made the household gaming systems rethink what they were doing! -

This bladeless fan has created a streamline way to get air into the home. This sure has come a long way from just opening up the windows to air out the house! -

This may not be a physical thing in the home, but I know I use it in my home today! The cloud helps families in the household by storing all information that's not necessarily ON your device. You can still access the information which makes it very convenient.
