    King Louis called a meeting for the Estates General. This was the first meeting since 1614. The reasoning for the king to call the meeting, was because the French government was having financial problems, and it needed to get solved. This was a major problem and if it was not dealt with as soon as possible, then there would be even more problems.

    This was sent by France's National Constituent Assembly. This is a document showing the history of the French revolution, and the civil rights that got passed.

    a state prison was attacked by a very agressive mob of people. By this happening it made the prison become a strong symbol of a monarchy.

    This event was a group of women demanding that they get bread for their families. There were some, but not many men involved. This took a while, and when they did show up at the Versailles, they were soaking wet from the rain. After them showing up, that that was the last the king saw of them.

They also had this idea to spread the fact that there is going to be a revolution, to all of Europe. They also thought that this would make the country a better place, more than it was.

    After a 2 day trail, Marie was convicted by the Revolutionary Tribunal of high treason and was put to death.

    Robespierre got arrested by the National Convention, and he was not happy. He was a leading member of the Committee of Public safety, in 1793. He was encouraging the execution, mostly by guillotine. This would kill 17,000 enemies of the Revolution.

    This brought power to General Napoleon as the first consul of France. Most people think that this is what ended the French Revolution. This event was very sudden and very violent. They make it so that they have all control in the armed forces, including police and military.
