My first Computer
The first computer I remember using was a Macintosh Color Classic ii. This possibly influenced my preference to use apple products and computers later in my life. -
Ipod released
October 23rd was the start of a music revolution! All of a sudden you could listen to more than one album on one device with no discs or tapes required whatsoever! -
Xbox releases in AUS
The Australian public got its hands on the xbox for the first time in 2002, about half a year after its november release in North America. -
My First Gaming Console
I was lucky enough to have an xbox when I was 4 and throughout the rest of my childhood. We were quite tight on money at the time so we couldn't buy any games and instead played nothing but demos, needless to say, my older brother and I still loved it! -
My first mobile phone
My first ever phone was given to me by my uncle, it was an old Nokia 3350 and he made sure to tell me how lucky I was to have something so advanced at such a young age! This relates quite strongly to the digital divide, because as time passed, advanced tech such as mobile phones were available for kids much earlier in their lives. -
My first Portable Music Player
Although ipods were released way back in 2001, the only music player I had back then was an old discman that I used all the time! I would take it on every car ride and even walk it through the shops, often I'd be listening to prince. -
First guitar and amplifier
On my birthday as I turned 7 I was given an electric guitar and practice amp by my parents and I played it until I bought my next guitar in 2012 -
My first PS2
My brother and I decided we needed a Playstation as well as an xbox and so one christmas we got very lucky and got one from our parents! -
Iphone released in AUS
The first ever Apple Iphone was released in Australia in 2007 and led to a ridiculous explosion in popularity in the tech savvy community. -
Second computer! (Decent)
On Christmas 2007 I woke up to an imac on my desk and that computer lasted me all the way through to 2013 until I got a replacement! -
My Xbox 360
My Brother and I got a xbox 360 for Christmas in 2008 and loved it to bits! My dad used to always compare the modern gaming consoles to what he had grown up with and loved throughout his childhood and adolescence. -
My first iphone (Shared)
My brother and I shared an iphone 3g when I was 11 and he was 13, this was only to be used for emergency calls and occasionally some games! -
PS3
My family and I purchased a PS3 to go with our collection of gaming consoles -
iphone 4s
I was given an iphone 4s and a "Beats By Dre" headset on the christmas of 2012 and this further gave my music passion a kick as it was majority of my life for the next few years. -
My Switch to Samsung
At the end of 2015 I decided to change phones from Iphone 4S to the samsung Galaxy S5, the customizability and freedom it provided smartphone users with was more appealing. Samsung were quite famous for allowing far more freedom.
