  • Born into the World

On July 7, 2000 I was born at a local hospital in Peoria, Illinois to my parents Tim and Erin. I was the first born, and the only child for years to come.

  • The start of a Schooling Journey

2004 was the year I entered my first school, and began preschool. I went to a private school that consisted of the grades preschool through eighth grade, and that was the school I went to up until eighth grade.
  • Experiencing Loss

    Experiencing Loss
In August of 2004, I lost my grandfather. Death is not something that a four year old can fully understand, or maybe even begin to understand at all. His death was my first time experiencing loss in my life, and still to this day fifteen years later, it's something I struggle with.
  • Baby Brother

    Baby Brother
Almost six years of being an only child, I finally got a younger sibling. I got a baby brother, and a best friend all in one (even though I may not have thought that at the time). He was supposed to be born on my birthday, but luck came for me, and he was born a little earlier.
  • Having a Passion

    Having a Passion
In the winter/spring of 2014, I made a travel volleyball team out of Peoria. With this team, I got to play all throughout the midwest, and I even got to play at the ESPN sports center in Orlando. Playing for this team gave me many new opportunities, and valuable skills that I can use all throughout my life.
  • Moving on up

In May of 2014, I graduated from eighth grade. The was a big step for me because this meant for the first time in my life I would no longer be going to a private school, I would be going to a public high school that had thirteen times the amount of students. Going from a school with 150 students to a school with 2,000 students was a huge change.
  • Losing a Best Friend

    Losing a Best Friend
On November 28, 2017 one of my close friends passed away. Rylee and I's friendship was short-lived, as we had only become friends in May of 2017, but her friendship is something I will never take for granted. Rylee was always a positive person, and it rubbed off so easily on the people around her. Positivity is something I learned to cherish from her.
  • High School Grad

    High School Grad
After what seemed like four very long years, I graduated from Pekin Community High School. I was happy to be done with high school, but I was also sad at the same time because I knew that meant my friends and I would all be going down our own path of life, and would no longer see each other every day.
  • Traveling

    Traveling
During this vacation, it was my first time on a plane, and my first time out of the country. This vacation was to Montego Bay, Jamaica, and it was one of the most impactful vacations I've had. Seeing the living conditions that people had in Jamaica really opened my eyes to how fortunate I am here at home, and to even have a place to call home.
  • Starting a New Path

In August of 2018, I completely started a new path in my life, I started college. This was unlike anything I have ever done before, as I would be on my own for the first time, but I couldn't ask for a better new "life" that college has given me.
