I began to recognize what was going on around me by grasping everything near me or putting everything in my mouth. During this period, children are in the process of discovering the world and learning how to use their senses to their benefit.
  • Trying to communicate

I was a very happy baby, and I love to smile. When people would talk to me I would try my hardest to talk back but it only came out as pointless babblilng
  • Rolled over by myself

motor development and muscle building allowed me to successfully roll over for the first time. That was the beginning of my independent movement.

    First day of Preschool
Preschool was the first time I was away from people in my immediate family for an extended period of time, but I was not phased. I had an insecure attachment with my parents, meaning that I was not bothered by whether they were there or not, so I loved preschool from the very beginning.
  • Fifth birthday

Another Birthday milestone that made me well aware that I was almost a year older than everyone else in my grade
  • First Day of Kindergarten

By this time, I was already used to being away from my parents, so it didn't feel like anything changed but it did. Kindergarten was the true beginning of my education. Personality traits can change during puberty, but characteristics before puberty do affect personality and characteristics afterwards for the most part.

    Adolescence

    Teen to 20 years
  • 8th grade graduation

I was so ready to be out of that school!
  • High School

Everyone else in high school was nervous, but I was excited. I automatically made new friends, but they were all juniors and seniors.

  • First Tattoo

    First Tattoo
I did feel like an adult after I went and got my first tattoo, even if my dad disowned me because of it. But I did it for me, so it is special. It was the first step in showing my independence and the first sign of how my personality had changed, and how far up I was on the moral ladder. This is the first indication of the characteristics that will stay with me through most of my adult life.

  • Married

    Married
Rusty and I will have been together for almost 8 years, and will have already started a life together as a family. We will just have to make it legal. This is an extremely important event in psychosocial development, because of the complexity and proximity of the relationship. It is also a crucial part of evolutionary development because, in society, that is the first step in continuing the human species.
  • Master's

    Master's
After taking a year to travel, I will attend UCLA for my master's degree in art therapy.
  • Opens business

While still living in California, I will open my own zen studio. It will be the place where I conduct my art therapy sessions. It will also include an open studio and weekly yoga sessions. Focus solely on Art
After many years of practicing art therapy, and doing art on the side, I decide to sell my practice and move to a house just outside of LA with my husband and dogs. There, he would continue to work while I focused just on my art. This is the step on the moral ladder that is usually reached during late adulthood. That is when a person is old enough and experienced enough to do things based on their morals and desires instead of what society defines.
  • Period: to

    Late Adulthood

    60s and up
  • Spouse's Death

My husband, who had been gradually declining for years, would pass away in his sleep at the age of 82. I would only be 80.
  • Death

After the loss of my husband, I would become depressed and eventually come down with a severe case of pneumonia that would be my cause of death, exactly 4 years after the death of my husband.
