    When he left he was in search for India and Asia, thinking it would be a faster route he went toward the west. He eventually ran into what today is, "America". This was important because he found land for trade and also lots of resources, we also wouldnt have the countrys we have today until later. This sparked exploration.

    Pineda made a map of the coast from Flordia to Texas. This also lead to him finding a new religion and customs. This was important because it lead to finding Texas and the states between there and Flordia. This also sparked more exploration.

    He traveled to mexico and also conquered the Azteches land. Along with thery're leader Montezumo. This was imporant because it helped the econmy and lead to new cultures and religions. This also sparked more exploration.

    On De Vacas voyage he was in search for the New World, he left spain to go to the Americas. In April 1528 he landed near Tampa Bay. The leader of this trip was Narváez. The main reason for this voyage was to serch for gold.

    De Vaca Discovers Texas
    They decided to travel farther when they hit Tampa Bay. He was shipwrecked, dehydrated, out of food, and overall not in good condition. He meet the tribes, Karankawas, Jumanos, and Coahiltecans. He stayed in Texas for four years.

    Fray Marcos and Esteban Journey
    The purpose of this journey was to search for gold. Esteban was shot down by indians and killed on spot. Fray Marcos reported that there was citys of gold or Ciabla and Quivera.

    The leader of his trip was De Soto, the goal of this trip was to find gold. Moscoso was with De Soto when De Soto died at the Mississippi River of a fever. They discovered the Mississippi River and todays Flordia (Tampa Bay). They also dicovered from Flordia to the texas coast. Much like Pineda.
  • Cornado's Expedition

    Cornado's Expedition
    During Corandos expedition he was plaing on finding the seven cities of gold. He was in search of Cibola and Quivera. His guide was a indian named Turk, who said there was a city named Quivera that was ran by amazon women and was made entirely of gold. He later killed Turk for lieing to him and then found the Zuni tribe. The importance was that it stoped many explorers from exploring Texas and changed his opinion from De Vacas. This also stopped exploration of Texas for a very long time.
