    Early life of Karl Popper
    Karl Popper was born in Vienna in 1902. Poppers father was a book lover and had amassed a huge collection of books that spanned topics such as philosophy, political and social issues. Karl Popper would eventually inherit his father's library and intrigue. He has described the atmosphere of his upbringing as having been "decidedly bookish”.     In 1935 Popper published his book “Logic of Research: On the Epistemology of Modern Natural Science”(originally in German with an English translation to follow in 1959). This is one of his most notorious books and garnished him much acclaim and criticism.     Karl Popper died 17 September 1994 at the age of 92. However, his legacy continues to inspire because of the monumental efforts he has put forth during his lifetime.
