    Sacagawea was born.
  • Event 1

    There was a confrontation between the Hidatasas and Sacagawea's tribe, the Shoshones. Sacagawea was kidnapped along with a lot of other young women. The Hidatasas sold Sacagawea to a French-Canadian trapper.
  • Event 2

    Event 2
    Lewis and Clark met Sacagawea's husband, and hired him as an Hidatasas interpreter. Sacagawea came as well to help. Sacagawea was also pregnant.

    Sacagawea gave birth to her son "Pompy." Lewis assisted the Birth of Pompy. Shortly after Sacagawea gave birth she began helping out with the expedition and mapping. However, they didn't actually leave the fort yet.

    Event 4
    The expedition left fort Mandan after Sacagawea's birth of her child. Pompy was only 55 days old when they left. Sacagawea still helped even though she had a new born.
  • Event 5

    There was a wind storm. Everyone on the expedition lost many supplies. Sacagawea, however, saved all the notes for the expedition.

    Sacagawea became sick for 10 days. Lewis and Clark helped her and stayed by her side. They also helped her improvement to Sulfur water, from a nearby spring, while she was ill.

    The expedition came to Shoshone lands. Sacagawea found her brother there. She also found a women that was held prisoner with her.
  • Event 8

    The expedition reached the Pacific Ocean. The group needed somewhere to stay for the winter. Gladly, Sacagawea was there to let everyone know that they should stay at a place with lots of food. They ended up staying at fort Clastop in Astoria, Oregon.
  • Event 9

    Sacagawea and her husband arrived home in the Mandan village on the upper Missouri River. Charbonneau, sacagawea's husband was paid $533.33 and 320 acres of land for being an interpreter. Sacagawea got nothing for helping on the expedition.
  • Event 10

    Sacagawea gave birth to her second child. Her child was a girl named Lizette. Soon after Sacagawea gave birth she died and Clark signed the adoption papers for Pompy and Lizette.
  • Death

    Sacagawea died from a disease.
