    Thirty Years War
The Thirty Years War was a religious war. It started as Catholic versus Protestant, but evolved into a basic fight over power and control. This war is famous for how long it took to end, the number of casualties, the starvation, and the diseases that resulted from the number of causalities. As more countries took sides the more gruesome, deadlier, and longer the war became. Countries in Central Europe took the greatest hit of all.

They wanted more of a say in government- which was a fair demand since they had little representation. The third estate hoped to find gunpowder and weapons to arm themselves, but there was nothing.
