  • National Consumers' League Established

    Created so people could fight for better rights of women and children labor.
  • President Assassinated

    President William McKinley is assassinated and Vice President Theodore Roosevelt takes his place.
  • Hepburn Act

    This act prevented railroads from increasing rates without approval from ICC
  • Roosevelt Calls Out Segregation

    Roosevelt anounces that Asian segregation isn't right and makes the San Fransisco change it's decision.
  • Republican President brought to power

    President William Howard Taft is elected for President.
  • Clayton Antitrust Act

    Revised the laws put on by the Sherman Antitrust Act of1890 that prevents business from becoming monopolies.
  • Keating-Owen Child Labor Act

    Limits how many hours of labor a child can work
