First fist fight
I won the fight...my mom never had a chance. -
Sister born
This marked the end of my only-child status. -
Started elementary school
And thus began my introduction to Atlanta Public Schools. I was ready to become knowledgeable! -
Family expansion pt. 2
There no longer was any doubt that I am a dog person. -
Cut my own hair
My bangs wouldn't fit into my Halloween costume, so they obviously had to be removed. I acted like a thinker and found a creative solution to my problem. My solution wasn't great, but it solved the problem. -
First started learning violin
I wasn't very good, but it was fun and I liked learning how to play the instrument. Learning an instrument required me to be principled and commit to practicing and bettering my playing. -
Family expansion pt. 3
We got our second dog to keep Emily (our first dog) company. -
Fell in a hole
It was dark and I wasn't paying attention to where I was running. I had crutches for a while. -
Got glasses
I could finally read the fuzzy lines on the board! After communicating to my mom about my trouble seeing, she helped me get glasses. Being a communicator helped me improve my life. -
Escaped elementary school
Finally got to leave that place; I was ready to move on to middle school! -
Began middle school
This was really scary and I thought the school and bigger kids were intimidating. Leaving a small school to go to Sutton really made me open-minded because I met so many different people. -
Got a concussion :(
A soccer ball gave my head a boo-boo. -

Family expansion pt. 4
We adopted Poppy and love her despite her weird behaviors and constant barking. -
Graduated from Sutton
Just when I started to like middle school, I had to leave and move on to high school :/ -
Achieved Warrior status
Stepped through the doors of NAHS for the first of many, many times. I quickly realized that I would have to work to balance my schoolwork, sports, and other activities. -
Started swimming...again
I decided to try swimming again after a brief break of 7 years from the sport. This is an example of my being a risk-taker. -
Became a productive member of society
I got a summer job and had to work with messy little kids at an art camp. This exercised my caring behavior and helped me further develop that trait. -
Competed in GA state science fair
To be honest, I'm not sure how I made it that far in the competition. Participating in the science fair helped me turn into a better inquirer. -
Finally got my license
Watch out people: I can drive now! -
Began the IB CP program
I had to be reflective and really think about what I wanted to do in terms of school and career.
