Birthday
I was born in HongKong along with my mother, father and 2 sisters, Myiu and Ayaka. We live in a ratty, old building. Everywhere around us is very peaceful. My father works on the farm. My mother stays in the home and helps out with making dinner and making the clothing. We left the counrty becuase we wanted to get better work. We hope to gain more money to support ourselves and our children. I wrote this autobiography so people can see what harships we go through on a daily basis. -
Angel Island
We arrived at angel island. It was very terrifying to see the children in so much pain from the doctors check. They started to cry. I wanted to tae the pain away from them but I couldn't. We all get out of the doctors check. I figure out that I can't stay in a house with my wife and daugter. So me and and my son have to get a home together. -
Get food
Me and Lang Lin, my son, are trying to find food. We are having a very hard time doing so becuase we are trying to meet up with my wife and daugter, but it is difficult due to living so close to the immigration station. We find a good time to do so and we are able to get a small portion of food. It feeds my wife, my 2 children, and me. -
Get a job
I finally go out and look for a job. With little bit of my luck I am able to get a job working in a "sweatshop". I don't get paid much becuase I have a feeling that the man who runs the buisness doesn't like me or my race. I feel that I don't belong here and that me and my famil should just go home. I stick through the job for a little while. My boss later fires me for not "comppleting" my work. I am devistated that I cannot support my family now. I am going to have to find a new job. -
Fight
I was walking home from the job I just go fired from becuase of not working. I stumbled upon a man and a woman fighting in an alleyway. I went in to stop it. The man say me and said "what are you doing, mind your own buisness." I was worried about the girl. I started fighting with the guy and then the girl ran away. I got hurt really badly. I ha to be rushed to a hospital immeidately for broken bones. I was in the hospital for almost a month. I couldn't stop thinking how the girl was. -
Sent home
I have finally been sent home becuase of how bad of shape I am in. I can't believe that I got into a fight though. I hope the girl is okay. I have many things wrong with me. I hope that I will be better by the time I get home. I don't want anyone to know what happened. I wish that the man is okay as well. Even though he is in jail proabably I am wishing him the best. I can't wait to get home and see my father. My mother had died 2 months before I got into the fight. I am glad to be going home.
