  • My First Birthday

    My First Birthday
I entered this world on July 11th, 1996. Originally, I was going to be named Julia, but my parents decided on Natalie, instead. The majority of people remember my birthday because it's 7/11 like the store.
  • My Strange Choice

    My Strange Choice
When I was 6 years old, I quit ballet and tap dancing to play hockey. For about five years, hockey was my passion. During my time playing, I got to play in an allstar tournament in Canada. I quit hockey around age 11 because I was focusing on volleyball and other things. My sister continued to play throughout high school at a national level so I was still able to watch her games and feel part of it.
  • My 9th Birthday Party

    My 9th Birthday Party
For my 9th birthday, my friends and I got to go to the local beauty school to get our hair and nails done! I still remember having so much fun. The students did a great job and I still go to the same place when I don't dye my own hair and when I need haircuts.
  • I Don't Have a Sense of Smell - It Stinks!

I Don't Have a Sense of Smell - It Stinks!
When I was ten years old, I found out that I have anosmia which is the lack of the sense of smell. Until the day I found out, my mom always thought that perhaps I didn't understand the concept of smelling, however, when I went to the doctor, they looked up my nose with a telescope and found that I was born without my sense of smell. Many people think it would be awful but considering I was born without it, I don't have anything to miss so I don't mind!
  • My First Concert

    My First Concert
Music has always been a huge part of my life growing up and still to this day. The first concert I ever went to was Hannah Montanna, The Cheetah Girls, and Everlife. I went with my mom and I was so starstruck. I was like "I'm in the same room as Miley Cyrus!" and it was amazing. I'll never forget it.
  • The First Time I Dyed My Hair

The First Time I Dyed My Hair
The summer going into sixth grade, I decided to dye my hair with my oldest sister without my dad knowing. I have naturally light brown hair so the results of the hair dye was light brown highlights on top of the majority of my head dyed hot pink. I loved it so much! It was really fun for the summer but since I went to a Catholic school, I had to bleach my hair white and dye it back to my natural color before school started again. Ever since then, I've been dying my hair.
  • Rachel and I

    Rachel and I
On August 5th, 2007, the summer going into 6th grade, I went to Wisconsin with my friend Rachel and her family for the first time. I have gone every year with them since then and we always have so much fun! Even though it was hard for Rachel and I to stay best friends when I transferred schools, we made it work!
  • The Start of a New Passion

The Start of a New Passion
The summer going into 7th grade, I started to do competitive cheerleading and tumbling. Right away, I loved it. I'm still on the same team today and I haven't lost any part of my love for it. When competing and performing in front of the judges, I get a huge adrenaline rush. Cheering and flipping gives me a release of tension.
  • My Beagle Charlie

    My Beagle Charlie
In 7th grade, I got my puppy beagle Charlie from Petland. When I got to play with him in the store for the first time, he howled for the first time in his life. It was so cute! We had two other beagles named Checkers and Daisy at home already so bringing home Charlie was so much fun! Checkers is my older sister Chrissy's dog, Daisy is my oldest sister Erika's dog, and Charlie is mine.
  • Transferring Schools

    Transferring Schools
In April of 2009, I transferred schools. I remember being so nervous especially because it was already so close to the end of the year. I had to transfer because in the beginning of 7th grade, I was in the hospital. I was then homeschooled for about two months because I missed so much school. From there, I transfered to Ebinger in order to be promoted to 8th grade. I loved Ebinger and I still talk to some of the friends I met there, as well as some of my old friends from my old school.
  • My Graduation Day

    My Graduation Day
On June 10th, 2010, I graduated 8th grade from Ebinger. It was a bittersweet day leaving all of our memories and friends, as well as moving on to the next part of our lives. I was so surprised when I won the American Legion award during the ceremony.
  • Jason Aldean Headlining Tour

    Jason Aldean Headlining Tour
The summer going into my sophomore year of highschool, I went to a Jason Aldean concert with my sister and two of our friends. That was the day we all became best friends and to this day we are all inseperable.
  • My Solo Performance

    My Solo Performance
I've been in chorus all four years at Taft but during my second year of chorus in sophomore year, I auditioned to perform a song at our last pop concert. I made it and got to sing Before He Cheats by Carrie Underwood and it was such an amazing experience. Singing is my passion and performing gives me such an adrenaline rush. While I'm on stage, I forget all of my worries and let everything out.
  • The Day I Became a Vegetarian

The Day I Became a Vegetarian
On August 3rd, 2012, I became a vegetarian. Back in 7th grade, I was a vegetarian, as well, but stopped. Ever since August 3rd, I've kept with it and I don't plan on eating meat anytime soon. Because I eat fish, I'm considered a pescatarian, but I usually just say vegetarian because a lot of people don't know what a pescatarian is.
  • My Biggest Cheer Award

    My Biggest Cheer Award
At the cheer banquet on April 21st, 2013, I was so honored to receive the Coaches Award for team motivation, spirit, and dedication. It felt amazing to know that I've impacted the team I've been on for so long.
