Birth
I was born on June 4, 2004 at 6:00 AM at Fountain Valley Hospital. I was 6 pounds and 6 ounces. I was the firstborn of four kids. -
Parent's wedding
I was sick on my parent's wedding day so I don't remember much. I was the flower girl and slept the whole night. -
1st Birthday
I had the biggest fever on my first birthday. My parents had a party planned with a big Winnie The Pooh cake but I was not in the mood that day. I cried non-stop that day. -
First Day of Pre-School
I went to my first day of pre-school when I was three years old at John Land School in Westminster. I took two years of pre-school. One teacher I remember is Miss. Madigan. -
First Friend
I got my first best friend in my second year of pre-school. Her name is Stacy Nguyen and we hung out at lunch and in class everyday. Her mom and my mom were close friends until I moved to Huntington Beach. -
First sibling
My mom gave birth to my first, little sister- Jardyne Nguyen. She was born on February 2, 2009 at Fountain Valley Hospital. She had a minor heart problem when she was born, and my mom was in the hospital for extended days. -
Family Vacation
I took my first family trip to Vietnam when I was six years old. We stayed there for about one month living at my grandpa's home. We rode motorcycles and my sister was only about one or two years old, and my mother was pregnant with my little brother. -
Second sibling
My mother gave birth to my first, little brother on July 16, 2010 at Fountain Valley Hospital. He was born without any injuries but later had a minor heart problem when he was one years old. -
Moving to Huntington Beach
My family and I stepped out of our comfort's zones and moved to Huntington Beach. We lived there for eight years. We were the only Vietnamese family living in the neighborhood. -
Fifth Grade Culmination
At the end of fifth grade, my friends and I graduated from elementary school. I wore our school shirt with a long maxi skirt, afterwards there was an end of the year party that most fifth graders attended at the harbor. -
Volleyball Experience
I started volleyball at the end of fifth grade. I saw that everyone was doing a sport and volleyball was the only sport I could handle. i would play just for fun until I tried out for volleyball in sixth grade and made it on the team all three years of middle school. -
Baby Sister
My mom gave birth recently on July 16, 2017 at Fountain Valley Hospital at around 7:00 AM. She shares a birthday with my little brother. Daniella was the heaviest baby at 8 pounds and 12 ounces. She is now one years old with about 6-8 teeth. -
14th Birthday
Out of the many birthdays I've had, my 14th is my most memorable because I spent it with my friends and family. I hosted a bonfire at HB with friends only, and I had lots of fun. We had dinner at Ruby's and went back to our pit to roast marshmallows. We shopped at Pacific City and I scored myself a free bar of soap from Lush! The day before my actual birthday, I hung out with my boyfriend. On my actual birthday, my family and I went to Buffalo Wild Wings at the Block of Orange. -
8th Grade Promotion
I graduated high school with my close friends and boyfriend (at the time). I wore a white dress, with tight curls and nicely done makeup. There was an end-of-the-year dance afterwards. It was considered our last middle school dance. -
First Day Of High School
It was my first day of high school and I was new to the district since I moved back to Garden Grove. I was nervous because I didn't have any friends. By the end of the day, I enjoyed my first day at Bolsa Grande. The teachers are fun and teachable, the people I met were very sweet and cute.
