Every night on Christmas eve my father would read me and my sister T'was The Night Before Christmas. It was the same book that was read to him when he was my age. I plan to read the book to my kids in the future. -
Salt lick Elementary School
My class was the last kindergarten class that attended salt lick elementary school, this is important to me because this is where i learned the basics of reading and writing and now the school is no longer there. -
Fairy Tales
When i was young my mother would read me fairy tales from Grimm's Complete Fairy Tales. This grew my interest for books and reading in the make believe category. -
Mini and Moo
The Mini and Moo books were books I used to read when i was young. These books made me laugh and enjoy reading. I would always be excited for my next Trip to the library to get the next book. -
Harry Potter
My Grandmother bought me and my sister the first harry potter movie. I enjoyed the movie very much to the point it intrigued me to want to read the book. Sadly i have yet to do so. But my mom would read me bits and pieces in our free time. -
Crossroads Elementary School
Crossroads is the School I attended after SLES closed. This school is where i met my favorite teacher Mrs.Otis, her class taught me more advanced forms of reading and writing but really got me more interested in math. (now my favorite subject) -
Cooking with mom
When i was younger I used to help my mom cook in the kitchen. I would read her the instructions on what she would need for cooking the food. -
Foreign Films
From time to time Me and my mother will watch a foreign film with subtitles. We will from time to time read the subtitles out loud with the accent the film is based on. -
The Novice
The Novice i was a book i read last year About a orphan blacksmith named Fletcher who soon comes to realize he is really an apprentice and can summon demons. This book was important to me because it is actually the first book i have read that left me wanting more, lucky for me it was only the first in a series. -
Stock Market game
Last year in Business Principles we played a stock market game. This game made me want to keep up to date and frequently read the stock news on the yahoo finance website. I was reading on this website everyday.
