i was born in Portland, Oregon and i lived in Salem, Oregon. -
1 bedroom
when i was 4/5 my family and i lived in a 1 bedroom house. it was me, my brother, 2 sisters, mom, dad, and my grandmother. 7 people in one room sounds hectic right? wrong. living in a tiny house forced us to get along, we very rarely had bad days and we were all happy as far as i remember. -
4th birthday
the earliest thing i remember in my lifetime is my 4th birthday party. i remember a few of the people who were there and a couple presents i got. -
freedom
my first dog was a black labrador named freedom. when i was 5 years old i told my dad when we moved i wanted a puppy, by then i had already forgotten about it but on july 4th we went to a firework show where a man was selling black lab puppies for $200. dad offered the man all the money in his pocket for the male with the blue collar and he took it, even though it was only $50. freedom was the best dog in the world and was my best friend growing up. we taught each other so much. -
My Best Friend
in 1st grade i met someone who is very important to me. at first we didn't get along but that changed fast. to this day, me and Taylor still tell each other everything. she lived right around the corner from me since 2007 and i will never forget her. -
Neveah
in 2010 my sister had a baby. even though i was only 8, i would read to her every chance i got. i am now and aunt to 4 girls and 2 boys. (between 2 sisters) -
Grandma Bev
in 2010 my grandmother passed away leaving her 10 acre property in olympia, in my dads name. at the time we had no idea what to do with it. selling is was not an option because both of my grandparents were buried there. so we continued to make the land payments. (this is an important detail for later on) -
California
in 2011 my family and i went to California for vacation. we visited the redwood forest and the Paul Bunyan statue. -
Change of Plans
in 2016 i just lived with my dad in a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom, 1200sqft house. the yard was big....but not big enough for the plans i had... i jokingly talked about moving here all the time but couldnt bear losing my entire family...or my best friend. i said i would never move without her, but here i am. anyway. The house sold in early feb. we threw everything away that wasnt important, packed up the dogs and drove 3k miles to our new home...hello! -
New Beginings
living here was far from what i expected it to be...its way better! i never thought i`d enjoy the company of other people after being around all the negativity at my last school. i love everyone that ive met here and im never leaving. i am living the life ive always wanted...also, i never thought i would find another best friend like Taylor. and even though NOBODY can replace her, im happy to have found soemone equivalent...love you sara <3
