    Jacques Necker and Estates General (Tennis Court Oath)
    He wanted the wealthier to pay taxes and stop spending so much money. In other words, reduce extravagance, spending. This happened because before him, the 3rd Estate was paying all the taxes. This is significant because it caused riots and angry people to take actions which caused him to be fired and lead to another option. Next option was Estates general which allowed people to write out their problems and vote together.The 3rd Estate always losing. This causes them to leave and create an oath.

    Storming the Bastille
    People in Paris hear the Louis XVI is sending troops to Paris which causes people to riot. Again. The bastille is a building that symbolizes authority and abuse. This place was a prison for people that made the King mad or angry. It was taken over on July 14, 1789 when the commander was killed. This happened because people heard that their were troops coming and this upsetted them. The people of Paris and their King were involved with the chaos it brought. This caused more disruption to Paris.

    This was created as the "Declaration of the Rights of Man" that stated all males equal before law, all had natural rights, and position was based on skill or merit. This happened because famine and rumors forced the people of Paris to become uneasy and have "The Great Fear" which is where troops destroy villages and food. This event had a lasting impact on the French Revolution because many areas were destroyed, people began to starve and die, and new laws were being put into place.

    The French Revolution started out with three estates and an "old system" of ideas. This event started because of unfair taxing towards specific estates, financial problems, poor jobs, and lack of food, water, and resources. The French Revolution was made up of many riots and leaders that worked to change how the government ran. Throughout this event, different people were in charge of what the people did and the way they believed could change the chaos that occurred because of their ideas.

    Napoleon wins victories as General of French Army
    Napoleon is the first consul for life and is elected as the emperor. He creates new rules such as religious tolerance, peasants allowed to own land, controlled prices, and a new code. He takes over and defeats which allows him to place people on thrones. This causes him to battle with other countries like Britain and Russia but upsets the people which leads to many problems.

    Before this event, the winter hits as he and his troops try and defeat Russia which is very harsh. They only arrive back to Paris with 20,000 troops where they started out with 600,000. When he was defeated again, he was sent to Alba a European alliance which is an island in the Mediterranean as a prisoner. Louis XVI is put on the throne and during a peace conference he escapes. This causes the army to rise again and attack but fail at Waterloo.
