    Near the start, after Charlie wins the race Squizzy gives Charlie new boots. Right then Charlie thinks of him as reliable and nice.

    When Charlie's Ma gets assaulted by Mr Peacock, Charlie goes to Squizzy for help, Squizzy sends a person to scope out the scene. Charlie thinks of Squizzy now as a father figure. "right then, Squizzy reminded me of3 my father."

  • Nostrils gets beaten up by Barlow

    When Nostrils gets beaten up by Barlow, Charlie goes to Squizzy again but this time Squizzy doesn't care about him. Charlie now thinks he has changed and can't be trusted. "To tell ya the truth lad, i couldn't give a rat's arse about your mate."
