Galileo Galilei was born is Pisa, Italy. His parents were Vincenzo Galilei(Father) and Giulia Di Cosimo Ammannati. -

Galileo’s family decided to move to Florence from where he originally came from in Pisa. -

Galileo was an Italian astronomer, mathematician, physicist, philosopher and professor. In 1592 he became the chair of the mathematics department in the University of Pisa. -

In 1613 Galileo felt warmly accepted in Rome and wrote three letters to take his position apart of the Heliocentric theory. -

After the accusations and conflict, the Catholic Church declared Galileo’s writing banned. The Church also warns him not to hold onto his beliefs anymore. -

Galileo returns to Rome to appeal his 1616 restraint and the Pope allows some exceptions. He is told he is allowed to write but only as a non-bias perspective. He must write letters from both theories and both perspectives. -
