    The estates general meeting was a meeting called by King Louis XIV to try and solve the problems of the country. It wasn't fair because the third estate which most of the country was in only made up 1/3 of the representatives.

    When the third estate was locked out of the estates general meeting they all met together on a tennis court near by and called them selves the national assembly basically the true voice of france.

    While the national assembly was at the tennis court they all took an oath to fight or protest for change in the country.

    The declaration of rights of man was a constitution like document which was written to represent the rights of all people by the national assembly.

    The Bastille was a place where the king made people "disappear" and it also had gunpowder for the revolution. They ended up tearing the bastille brick by brick which was a very symbolic and a turning point in the revolution.

    The legislative assembly was made up of the revolutionaries and during this time they began to make laws which shows how they were holding a lot of the power at the time.

    The directory was a group of people that controlled France for a 5 year period basically trying to hold the country together.

    Napoleon takes over by somewhat force however many accepted him as their leader. He becomes the emperor of france with complete power.

    The concordat reinstated the Catholic church and restores some of its influence however it didn't bring the church back to the level of power it had before the revolution

    By this point napoleon had been in in power for a couple years and people were more pleased with him then those before so he was accepted without much drama
