    Hommer Plessy was mix but look white. He decided that it was okay to sit in a white car, but in this case he got arrested. he lost the court case because they said that segregation was okay if it was equal. yhis was another case that added more tension to the conflict of thecivil rights

    Brown v. Board of Education
    This case was between Oliver Brown and the Topeka, Kansas school board and the conflic was that they had seperated public schools for blacks and whites. This was amajor court case that was violating the 14th ammendment. Due to this the court rule it for Oliver Brown and this favor african americans which help the civil right movement.

    Emmet Till was a fourteen year old that was accuse to be flirting with a white girl. Due to tthis white people murder him and dumped him into the Tallahatchie River.     In this event nine students who were African Americans enroll in Central High School. the school and the National Guard wouldnt let the students pass but the president help them get in with his power. Although it was hard for the students, the government show a little bit more support and was one of the effects of the movement.
