    To reauthorize the elementary and secondary act that would include provisions for disadvantage children. It supported the standard-based education reform which would be setting high standards and establishing measurable goals that could improve individual outcomes.

    Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA)
    A law that governs U.S public education policy of K-12. It replaces its predecessor "No Child Left Behind Act," and modified but does not eliminate provisions of relating periodic standard testing given to students.
