    1. Understand & document current State of Ed Tech & IT Infrastructure. This includes an inventory of devices, online tools & apps, and to identify PD completed & needed (including dig safety, accessibility, NGSS, Comp Sci Standards).
    2. Identify greatest IT & Ed Tech needs for effective instruction & secure infrastructure - including maintenance, replacement and enhancements of capital investments.
    3. Assess & revised current technology standards for students and staff (ISTE).

  • Draft 3 Year Technology Plan

    Draft 3 Year Technology Plan
    Educational Services, which includes Information Technology, Educational Technology and Data & Assessment to create a preliminary draft of 3 Year Tech Plan. This would include securing funding, resources, and support form the community.
  • Convene Technology Task Force

    1. Tech Task Force convenes (two 4 hour meetings): gain input & support from key stakeholders on 3 Year Technology Plan.
    2. Cultivate partnerships to support district’s goals (i.e. corporations, non-profits, neighbors, grants, etc).
    3. Identify funding sources to support this work/plan

    Stage 1 - Awareness and Coherence
    Introduce Technology Plan to Departments, Administrators, Teachers, and Home & School Clubs. This training and presentation is to provide all key stakeholders the overarching ideas, tasks, measurable outcomes, and timelines of the plan. This is critical in garnering support and laying out the foundation and vision for the district as it relates to student outcomes.
  • Stage 2 - Staff Professional Development

    Stage 2 - Staff Professional Development
    Provide all staff with ability to find digital resources and professional development that are aligned to the standards. This would also includes tools to access student data and analysis to assist in differentiation, data management tools, and resources to improve skills in technology integration. Measurable outcomes will be staff completion of Digital Literacy Modules and Staff Feedback Surveys.

    Stage 3 - Ongoing Staff Professional Development
    This stage requires the technology task force to coordinate and provide staff an ePortfolio of professional development for personalized learning. This would include a professional development system aligned with the standards & learning modules, performance indicators to measure staff skills and growth, and a toolkit for site administrators to monitor staff progress and provide individualized learning action plans for improvement.

    Stage 4 - A Personalized Learning Environment for Staff and Student
    At this stage, the technology task force provides teachers/staff with the ability to measure effectiveness of instruction aligned to the technology standards. All staff has access to the learning progression maps, formative assessments, and tools for data analysis. Teachers and administrators will have the ability to reflect on student outcomes as it relates to each stage of implementation of the technology plan. The ultimate outcome would be high quality 21st century classroom instruction.
