    Battle of Princeton
    The Battle of Princeton was one of the many American Revolution battles. This particular battle was fought in Princeton, New Jersey. General George Washington of the Continental Army decided to enter Princeton from a back road. This strategy helped him win the battle against the British army and also helped boost the morale of the his own troops.

    The battle took place in Yorktown Virginia from September 28th of 1781 through October 19, 1781. The Americans had a fighting force of approximately 8,800 who was supported by 7,800 french soldiers against a British force of about 6000. The french and Americans were bombarding. A British Officer waving a white flag informed the Americans and French that they want to surrender. On October 19, 1781 articles of capitulation were signed which proved that British admitted their defeat.

    The Treaty of Paris was an agreement between the British and the United States of America to end the Revolutionary War. The treated was signed in Paris and under the terms of the treaty Britain had to recognize America as its own independent country.
