    Ottoman Conquest of Constantinople
    At this time, the Ottomans began to ride, starting with conquering Constantinople. This event made Iberians realize they were the chosen ones to defend Christianity in the Christian Byzantine. The Muslims of the Islam religion, conquered parts of southeastern Europe in Anatolia, but the Iberians defeated them and took back the land that was originally Christendom, also known as Christian Byzantine.

    Portuguese Defeat Ottomans

    The Portuguese defeated the Ottomans by sailing around West Africa and finding new sources of gold. Without the Portuguese finding a new ocean route to defeat the Ottomans, West Africa would not have been apart of the trading system which originated from southernization. The Portuguese also would not have been able to defeat the Ottomans without the products the Arabs and Chinese invented which include the lateen sail, compass, and the Arabic tables indicating the angle of the noonday sun.
  • Dutch Invade Trading Post in Moluccas;Conquer Banda Islands

    The Dutch Invaded the Trading Posts in the Moluccas which led to the Conquer of the Banda Island in 1621 which helped the Europeans take part in southernization. Europe is too far north to grow cotton, sugar, or even cinnamon, pepper or the most wanted spices.
