    Life
My Origin Story starts not with me, but with the family and the group of people I know best, and who know me better than anyone ever has. This includes, but is not limited to, my mom, my dad, grandma, great aunt, godmother, and my best friend. These are the people that I trust the most, and have been there with me through it all.
  • Becoming an older sister

    Becoming an older sister
I don't remember everything that was happening when and for awhile after my brother was born, but all I do know is that every memory I have, he is there. He is one of the people I trust the most, a true best friend, and I cannot imagine life without him. He has changed my life just by being in it and I try my best every day to be a good sister and most importantly, someone for him to look up to and a true role model.
  • Starting School

    Starting School
My education is something I feel I have taken for granted in the past. After learning that not every kid is granted with an opportunity for education like I have been and that some who attend school have to go through many obstacles just to get there, it changed my viewing on going to school every day. I now learn everything I am given the opportunity to learn and aspire to do my very best on every assignment and in every class.
  • Advanced Mobility

    Advanced Mobility
Learning how to ride a bike, as funny as it sounds, proved to myself that even in the wrong conditions, I can train myself to do anything. I persevered and got hurt, a lot, but in the end, I can now know that I can learn anything I set my mind to. Next thing on my list, driving!
  • The Value of Life

    The Value of Life
My grandfather's death brought forth the idea that we do not live forever. It changed my life and made me realize I need to spend every day, whenever I can, with the significant people in my life because you never know when they can be taken from you forever. I also try my best to live every day like it could be my last, and I am trying new things and doing things I never could have thought I would be.
  • Growing More Competitive

    Growing More Competitive
Playing travel softball changed my life. I started in a whole new program, with whole new people, and with a game, I wasn't too familiar with. That changed very quickly and to this day I have another family whom I'll never forget, coaches who I'll treasure forever, and friends who will be there for me through it all.
  • Making a Team

    Making a Team
Making the volleyball team was a turning point in my life because it changed the way I started my highschool career. I made a team full of people I didn't know all too well but now I get to see some of the best friends I've ever had, every day. I have been given the oppurtinuty to learn a new sport and be a part of a community in which I hope I can be in for the rest of high school.
