    The British put a tax on all paper documents. the Stamp Act was asymmetrical because the colonist response wasn't similar. an example of the colonist response would be the Boston Tea Party.

    This event is asymmetrical. We are unsure who shot first. 3 were killed at the scene, and 2 were wounded and later died of the wounds. The British captain was Thomas Preston and he was charged for manslaughter.

    General Washington knew that the British would be celebrating Christmas on the 25, so he planned a surprise attack on the 26 when the British wouldn't be in the best shape. This was a huge win the Patriots.

    This event was symmetrical. The British Army led by General Burgoyne attacked Saratoga. 2 weeks later they attacked and were defeated. they were forced to surrender. This American victory conviced the French to fight with the Patriots against the British.
