    The British came out on top and won this battle and acquired the divided state of South Carolina. This was known to be the rebels worst loss in the war.

    This was a big win for the Patriots as it really boosted their morale. The British leader Ferguson wouldn't surrender so he led his men on a suicidal charge and him and his men were all slaughtered.
