  • Treaty of Paris

    This treaty ended the revolutionary war and recognized American independence. John Adams, Benjamin Franklin, John Jay, Thomas Jefferson, and Henry Laurens all negotiated and collaborated with this.

    This is a painting of Napoleon created by Jacques-Louis David. The painting started to be made in 1804 and was finished in 1807.

    This battle was fought near what is now Belgium. The French army was defeated by a British army and a Prussian army.
