SpaceX, launched the Crew Dragon spacecraft. This was the first crewed orbital spaceflight launched from the United States since 2011. The launch was a big milestone in space exploration showing the plausibility of commercial spaceflight in the private sector. It got people excited about spaceflight again and created an opportunity for future relationships between commercial space travel and government agencies.
