    1. It is important because as stated by cause and affect when serbian nationalist killed archduke it provoked them to declare war on Serbia which also caused Germany to declare war on Russia as thier allies.
    2. It is also important because according to ethical judgment instead of declaring war and creating a four year bloody death bath for all countries they should have talked it out and come to terms they both agreed on.

( This was a turning point in war as chlorine gas was used for the very first time and it surprised people)

    2. Also according to cause and affect, because of the battle of vimy ridge that took place which provided an oppurtinity for the canadians to have thier own identity, after victory there were more than 10,000 causalties

Also according to cause and affect the the battle was fought to capture a passchandaele to create a vulnerbility in the German lines, the affect was the villiage was captured due to the canadian troops (This was the turning point for war because it caused alot of deaths and also gave canadians a sense of pride)
