    Versailles Treaty
    The Versailles Treaty was the peace treaty that brought World War 1 to an end. The Allied and Central powers were held in the Hall of Mirrors at The Palace of Versailles. The meeting gave Germany harsh punishments for their actions and to bought many agreements to end the war. Germany was angered since all of the punishments and reparations were targeted towards them which led to World War 2.
  • League of Nations

    League of Nations
    The League of Nations was held at Geneva, Switzerland and was an international organization that was used to discuss international problems. President Woodrow Wilson founded the organization through the Fourteen Points plan but the United States never joined. The main members included Japan, Britain, France, and Italy. The League, however, failed to clear international disputes which led to World War 2

    Communist International
    Also known as the Comintern was an organization that aimed to advocate world communism and revolution and was created by Vladimir Lenin. The creation of this organization allowed the split of The European Socialist parties to create a less significant communist party in each country. Countries such as Japan and Germany despised the organization which led to conflicts (WW2) since they wanted it to be disbanded.

    After Mussolini becomes the Prime Minister of Italy the life of Italy was completely changed. Italy needed political and economic stability within the nation and Mussolini promised to give that which allow him to rise in power. Asserting superiority and strength was used to prevent a downfall in the nation. Citizens were put under sitrict ruling with Mussolini with total power. Many countries started to use the idea of Fascism which also led to World War 2

    The Hopeful Years era brought positive actions within the European internal relations. Many major agreements were brought to help reparations such as the Dawes Plan which helped the German economy. Germany entered the League of Nations and overall helped to ease the tension between the Soviet Union and the west. When the Hopeful Years ended, people believed that the peace wouldnt last which led to World War 2

    Joseph Stalin was the new dictator of the USSR. Stalin used terror on his citizens to maintain obedience but this led to the deaths of millions of citizens. However, with Stalin as the new leader, he transformed a peasant society of Russia into a military and industrial superpower. Stalin wanted to spread the idea of communism within a nation.

    After the American stock market crashed, the global economy went into a downward spiral. Many nations relied on America before its crash since it flourished. One by one, countries started to go into debt and poverty. The Depression led to many leaders to rise such as Hitler and Mussolini with his Fascist government. With these aggressive leaders on the rise, conflict rose as they built their country up which led them to World War 2

    Japan invades Manchuria
    The Japanese Kwangtung Army invade the Chinese in Manchuria following the Mukden incident. The Japenese were seeking to expand their territory to earn raw materials to fuel their growing industries. This upset some countries due to their aggression which led to bad relations causing a push towards World War 2

    Nazi Germany decides to withdraw from the League of Nations that was a disarmament conference. The Western powers refused to give Nazi Germany military parity. Hitler wanted to accomplish all of the Nazis goals without the League of Nations blocking them. This allowed Hitler to build up Germany and a military to wage war which led to World War 2

    Third Reich
    After the Weimar Republic was ended by the Nazis, Adolf Hitler was placed as the Chancellor of Germany and created the Third Reich. The Third regime or empire was led by Hitler and brought a policy of coordination that put the economy, education, and law under Nazi control. The spread of Nazi ideology was the key to success for Hitler and spread it through propaganda. The Third Reichs ways were disliked by some nations which brought conflict.
