    The plague arrived in Europe when 12 ships from the Black Sea docked at the Sicilian port of Messina. Most of the sailors on board were dead or soon to be. The "death ships" were ordered away but it was already to late. The Black Death named for the colors of it's boils would wipe out about 1/3 of the continent.

With declaring independence and eventually wining against Britain America inspired others to revolt. Primarily the French.
