Chapter 1-4
Twelve girls and boys, one girl and one boy from each district, is picked and forced to appear on a live TV-show called the Hunger games. When Katniss Everdeen`s little sister, Prim, is the chosen girl from district 12, do Katniss volunteers and steps forward to take her sisters place. The chosen boy from district 12 is Peeta. The same day they must say goodbye to their family and friends and board on a train to The Capitol. At the train they meet their mentor, Haymitch. He passes out drunk. -

Chapter 4-5
The train arrives at the ruling Capitol, Panem. When they arrive at the Capitol, Katniss meet her prep team and stylist who is helping her prepare for the opening ceremonies. The opening ceremonies marks the begging of the games. After the ceremonies they arrive at the training center, which is going to be their home until the games begins. -

chapter 22-23
Katniss and Peeta continue to wait in the cave during a rainstorm. They are still stuck in the cave because of the rain. They play up their romance for the audience of the Capitol, and in reward Haymitch gives them a big meal to share. -

Chapter 6-7
Katniss and Peeta speak alone for the first on top of the roof. The morning after is the first day of group training. The group training lasts for three days, and they learn new skills which are important to survive in the hunger games. -

Chapter 7-8
In the afternoon they are each getting a chance to perform in private in front of the game markers, and scores are announced in the evening. Katniss and Peeta both received a high score. Katniss and Peeta have their first live television interview. -

Chapter 9-11
Peeta and Katniss speak on top of the roof, the night before the games begins. The hunger games begins, and Katniss witness that Peeta teams up with some of the strongest tributes. The tributes are the residents who are forced to participate in the hunger games. -

Chapter 12-13
Katniss searches for water, unsuccessfully. She spends the night in a tree. The next day she finally finds a source of water, but her night gets interrupted by a fire. -

Chapter 13-14
Katniss climbs a tree to escape from the other tributes who has teamed up, including Peeta. Katniss and Rue come up with a plan to drop a nest of deadly wasp at them. She drops the nest, and she gets her arrow and bow, and escapes. -

Chapter 15-17
Katniss and Rue forms a alliance, and the make a plan to attack the other tributes supplies. Katniss blows all of the supplies, but she loses her hearing in the process. She regains hearing at one ear, and Rue gets killed. -

chapter 21-22
Peeta develops blood posing, and needs medicine. The same night it is announced that it will be a feast, in the feast there will be new supplies, including medicine. Katniss goes to the feast, and gets the medicine without getting hurt. -

Chapter 18-20
The game makers announce that two people from the same district can win together. The same night Katniss finds Peeta, and she treats his wounds. They spend the night together in a cave. -

Chapther 23-25
Katniss and Peeta go fishing and picking berries. They discover the poison berries. They are forced to the lake because of the dried pools. -

Chapther 25-26
At the lake they met mutations. Peeta`s leg gets wounded, and they have to spend the night at the Cornucopia. The hunger games ends, and Peeta and Katniss are the winners. -

Chapter 26-27
The hunger games ends. Katniss and Peeta wins the games. They have their last television interview, and Katniss confess her confused feelings for Peeta to him. They return back to district 12.
